About HWSCD
HWSCD was the first full-time British style boarding school to be awarded with the authorization of both the British National Examination Board Edexcel and Cambridge International Examinations as an Exam Centre. HWSCD employs a high calibre foreign teaching team from Oxford University, Cambridge University, Harvard University and Yale University to provide excellent A-level & IGCSE education and helps Chinese students continue their education at more than 11,000 top universities from 160 countries and regions around the world.
Enrollment Target
Hongwen School Chengdu is a one full-time education boarding school. We are expecting domestic students who finished their Junior Two, are studying Junior Three and Senior One currently. After entrance, our school will register new students with new student status, and there’s no need to convert the student status of original schools.

Examination Request
HWSCD advocate holistic education to reach elitism. The aim is to train students comprehensive ability, to let students adjust oversea life after entering world-famous university quickly. HWSCD has a relatively scientific admissions system. All candidates need to submit applicants which conform to the requirements of the application materials, candidates may take the written test and interview after verifying all required materials. Candidates with written examination achievements may enter the interview process. Our foreign principal is in charge of students personally interviews. Parent will join interviews with school experienced educational experts.
Examination procedure
Exam Registration
Before applying, please log in our school official website and fill in the examination registration form carefully, provide the exam report from previous school, a recommendation letter and all Certificate of Honors and other relevant materials. The exam report will be issued by the school or by teacher's signatures.
Interview with Principle
If candidates’ written exam score meet the requirements, they may enter the interview section with foreign principle.
Parents Interview
Parents may enter the interview section after the candidates pass their interviews with foreign principle.
Admit the Best
Based on candidate’s score of written exams and interview, as well as parents’ evaluation result, school will run an overall assessment to select the best candidates.
